Position Overview:
We are looking for a Compliance Assistant to support our compliance team in ensuring that our company operates in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Assist in the coordination of compliance training and education programs for employees.
Respond to compliance inquiries from internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to compliance activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Preferable) in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in compliance is preferred.
1-2 years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs within the financial services industry, with a focus on KYC and AML/CFT regulations.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to KYC, AML, and sanctions screening.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
